Plugins and Files
Plugin installs and the file editor are included in every plan, Free included. They need host access to your server (Pterodactyl, Pelican, WISP, AMP or SFTP / FTP, in Configuration > Connection).
Plugins
The server's Plugins page lists every plugin: loaded, failed (with the compile error) or not loaded, with its version and its cost (time spent in hooks, memory). It also shows your Oxide or Carbon version and the latest one.
- Updates: Servycore checks uMod and Codefling and shows the plugins with a newer version, from the store whose author wrote your plugin. Update installs it (the current file is kept in
plugins/backups). - Install a plugin: pick uMod or Codefling, then search, or install one of the most downloaded plugins listed first (host access needed). On Codefling, filter Free or Paid: free plugins install in one click, paid ones show their price and a link to buy them.
- Reload / Unload / Load, Config (opens the file editor), Remove (the config and data stay; a copy is kept in
plugins/backups).
After an install or an update, the plugin shows Loading… while Oxide or Carbon compiles it, then Loaded (or the compile error).
Codefling plugins you bought
Connect your Codefling account once per project and the paid plugins you bought install and update in one click:
- On codefling.com/settings/apps, click Add App and choose Account API, with access to files.
- Copy the access token of the app.
- In Install a plugin > Codefling, click Connect my account and paste it.
Servycore keeps the token encrypted and only uses it to download your plugins. Bought plugins then show Purchased and an Install button. Disconnect removes it from Servycore; delete the app on Codefling to revoke it there too.
Good to know:
- When a Codefling plugin comes as a zip, Servycore installs the
.csplugins inside it. Other files of the archive (data, configs, docs) are not copied: if the plugin needs them, get them from its Codefling page. - Extensions (
.dll) and files over 5 MB are not installed from here: get them from Codefling. - A plugin from another store (Lone Design…) or your own: Upload its
.csfile.
Servycore plugins
The Servycore Leaderboard card installs the leaderboard plugin already connected: the plugin, its config, the project and server IDs and an API token scoped to this server, in one click (plan with the leaderboard). When a new version ships, Update appears, and Servycore updates it by itself every hour (on by default; untick the option under the card to update by hand). Reconnect gives it a new token.
When the plugin step is not done
The Connection tab of the server says why the plugin is not sending data, and how to fix it: the leaderboard is off, the server is offline, the plugin is missing or failed to load (with the error), it is connected to another server, it sends to the wrong address, or its API token was deleted. Use the button next to the reason (Reload, Reconnect, leaderboard settings), then Check again. Without RCON or host access, Servycore cannot look at the server and says what it could not check. The plugin sends its data when it loads and while players play: on an empty server, reload it to see it connect.
Files
The Files page browses the server through your host access, with shortcuts to the server config, plugins, plugin configs, plugin data and logs.
- Text files open in an editor. JSON is checked before saving, the previous version is kept (restore it in one click), and Servycore warns you if a plugin rewrote the file since you opened it.
- After editing a plugin config, Reload the plugin. Copy this config to other servers sends it to other servers and reloads it there.
- Logs open read-only, from their end. Download or delete files, or create a new one (for example
server.cfg). - Files over 10 MB (world saves, maps) are not opened or downloaded here: use your host panel or SFTP.
