Players, Bans and Reports
Players
Players (left menu) lists everyone: players who linked their accounts on your website and players seen on your servers. Filter by online, linked, not linked, banned or VAC banned. Each server also has a live Players page (read from the server, refreshed every 10 seconds) with Kick, Mute / Unmute and Ban.
The player page
Click a player to open their page, in three tabs:
- Linked accounts: Steam, Discord and Twitch with their checks (Steam group, Discord member and booster, Twitch follower and subscriber), re-check and unlink, and the danger zone (delete the linked account).
- In game: time played, sessions, kills and deaths, F7 reports, the servers they play on, their Steam account (age, VAC and game bans, hours on Rust), their chat and a timeline. Filter by server.
- Moderation: bans and mutes, private staff notes, staff actions, F7 reports received and sent, staff roles and groups, and related accounts (same IP or family share, for roles allowed to see them). Combat log reads Rust's combat log of the player on a server (the last hits given and taken: weapon, distance, body part, health, projectile checks such as trajectory mismatch and desync), handy to check a cheating report. Rust only keeps it for players who are online or sleeping on that server.
Bans
A ban covers one server, some servers or the whole network, for a while or for good: pick a ready duration or Custom… (minutes, hours, days, months or years, ten years at most; more than a year needs the permanent ban right). Servycore sets Rust's bans endpoint on your servers: Rust asks Servycore at every connection, so a banned player is refused before entering, without a plugin. You can import the ban list of a server.
To show your bans on your website, add the Ban List module in the site editor: the active bans of the whole network or of one server, with the reason, when the ban ends and the servers it covers if you want them shown, Steam profile links and a search box. Mutes are left out unless you turn them on. Revoked and expired bans disappear on their own.
Mutes
Rust's mute has no duration, so Servycore lifts it at the end and sets it again if the player reconnects meanwhile. Unmute from the Players page, the chat or the player page.
F7 reports
Reports groups the F7 reports by reported player, with the number of reports and of distinct reporters. Ban or kick from there, or mark them handled.
Roles, groups and permissions
In a player's In game tab, pick a server: you see at a glance what the player has there, bans and mutes, the staff role and timed groups Servycore gave, and the groups and permissions Oxide or Carbon report right now (a player who never joined that server has none). Give a staff role and Give a group open the Staff page for this player.
